Diarmuid McCowen

 

Diarmuid is an Irish physiotherapist, who graduated from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen in 2019. He has 5 years experience as a Physiotherapist in a variety of healthcare settings including hospitals, occupational health and orthopaedic/musculoskeletal outpatient departments. Diarmuid has been primarily focused on musculoskeletal injuries, and has particular interest in returning clients to full function, and allowing them to resume activities they have been restricted from.

He has a real passion for rehabilitation of injuries and taking a client through the process from initial diagnosis, through ongoing managment/treatment and ultimately to empower his patients to have the tools and education to self manage when possible, with the ability to enjoy doing what they love in everyday life, pain-free.

Diarmuid is very active, and enjoys playing Gaelic football and soccer, as well as running. For this reason, he has a special interest in people playing similar sports, and enjoys being able to rehabilitate them to a return to the sports they love.
