Jess Gelling

Jess joined the Revive team as a new graduate in 2007 after graduating from the University of Queensland with a bachelor of physiotherapy degree. A keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and Pilates led her to owner and sports physiotherapist Julie Campbell, who took her under her wing and guided her to be the experienced physiotherapist she is today.

Jess has a special interest and specific training in Women’s Health physiotherapy including pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence. She manages the pre and post -natal care at Revive and holds pregnancy and post- natal Pilates classes each week.

Jess also enjoys treating a wide scope of musculoskeletal issues and sports injuries using a combination of manual therapy, dry needling (Western style acupuncture) and Pilates based rehabilitative programs to achieve the best results for her clients.

Jess completed her Pilates training at the Pilates institute of Queensland and believes that its methods are the key to successful rehabilitation after injury.

Outside of work Jess and her husband love to travel, dine out and attend concerts and festivals when possible. She also has her roots firmly in the ground of rural Australia after growing up on the family property outside of Goondiwindi, QLD.
