Why is physiotherapy important during pregnancy?
Pregnancy affects your posture, joints, muscles, and pelvic floor. Physiotherapy can help you stay active, reduce pain, and prepare your body for birth.

Common pregnancy concerns we treat include:
- Pelvic or lower back pain
- Pelvic girdle pain (SPD)
- Rib, hip, or coccyx discomfort
- Abdominal separation (DRAM)
- Bladder or bowel changes

- Assessment – we’ll gently assess your posture, muscles, and pelvic floor function if needed.
- Tailored Plan – you’ll leave with a clear, personalised treatment plan that might include exercises, hands-on therapy, and practical tips as well as a guide for check-ins before and after birth.
We move at your pace and create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and heard throughout your
treatment and journey.
