Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates
Our Clinical Pilates sessions run throughout the day, on the hour. You get a personalised pilates program, that supports your needs and goals to do in a small group environment. These exercise sessions are supervised by physiotherapists and suitable for rehabilitation of injuries or treatment of conditions like back or neck pain, poor balance and poor posture. We use a variety of equipment such as the cadilliac, ladder barrel, reformer, spine corrector and wunda chair for individuals without injury to maintain mobility, strength and fitness.
Health fund rebates may be available on these sessions depending on your fund.
Our sessions encompass Pilates based exercises, functional movement retraining and other clinically relevant exercises performed in small groups.
How do our pilates programs work?
We start with a thorough assessment when we look at your posture, check any existing musculoskeletal issues and create a plan with
you to ensure we address your specific goals. Following an initial assessment we develop your individual program tailored specifically to
your needs. You then carry out a further 2 hours one on one either with a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist. Once
your therapist feels you are ready you can then move into small group sessions.
We may advise that you also need to have some physiotherapy along with starting ETS - we will guide you with your bookings to help you find the best plan and pathway.
