Emily DuncanEmily is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist with great passion for holistic health and exercise as medicine. Emily graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2017 and throughout her university degree she gained experience in treating various forms of chronic disease, specialising in outpatient cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, metabolic conditions, neurological cases and a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Emily also previously worked as a sports trainer for a local rugby league team for two years during her university years. Her role included strength and conditioning for healthy athletes, managing various acute injuries, prescribing exercise rehabilitation to injuries players.
Emily is also a qualified pilates instructor, and has a passion for the holistic benefits Pilates can provide. Her main areas of interest include musculoskeletal injury prevention and rehabilitation, women’s health management including pre-and post-natal treatment, sport performance enhancement.
Emily has over four years of experience as a medical receptionist and thoroughly enjoys working in an environment that promotes her passions and future goals.
Her hobbies include running and pilates, as well as spending time with her family, travelling and hitting up the beach at any chance possible!
