Nicholas Whimp
Nick first started his journey in health care with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Movement Science. However, it was after his own experience with back pain that saw him transition towards a career in Physiotherapy. Having always been passionate about sport and exercise it was only natural that he found his passion in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
Nick has a wide range of experience in treating all musculoskeletal injuries, however his areas of special interests are:
- Treatment of acute and chronic neck pain
- Treatment of acute and chronic lower back pain
- Treatment of running related injuries.
- Assessment of running technique
Nick is committed to learning and improving his knowledge and skills so that he can effectively treat his patients in a manner that his
consistent with the latest evidence. This sees him use both manual therapy techniques alongside individualised exercise therapy (often
incorporating strength training or pilates).
Outside of the clinic Nick enjoys travelling and living an active lifestyle which involves surfing, running and golf.
