Jenny Tomkins
Jenny’s formal qualifications include Diploma in Recreation and Leisure Management, Fitness Instruction, Certificate in Pilates Mat and
Equipment, and Remedial and Sports Massage.
Much of her work history has involved working with Physiotherapists in injury rehabilitation settings and community fitness classes in Gyms,
Pools and Community parks and in the Pilates studio setting over the past 15 years.
Her passion for helping people overcome injuries and look after themselves better through movement is shown in the Pilates Studio and the
Massage room, where she works closely with her clients explaining and always encouraging.
Outside the studio Jen enjoys her cycling and coaching. Her greatest challenge was completing 3Peaks event in Victoria in 2014. (235kms with
4000m of climbing in under 12 hours) Her passion for peaks has also seen her walk Mt Blanc (Switzerland) and recently Cradle Mt National
park (Tasmania)
Jen’s hubby Bill has been playing State and National level Masters hockey for many years, and as a devoted wife and past player herself she
has Massaged and Sports Trained teams at National and International titles.
Totally unrelated to fitness Jen has been volunteering at Mon Repos Turtle Rookery doing turtle research activities and with Wild Mob doing
vegetation clearing on East coast Islands.
