David Fahey

David has a background working in elite sport. Having worked in the championship first division of English football academies like Barnsley FC to the Premier League academy of Leeds United working his way up to head of academy medicine (u23s physiotherapist)/first team aid physiotherapist.

Dave then moved to New Zealand and worked with the countries most renowned orthopaedic surgeons and sports medicine doctors in clinic for 2 years. Alongside covering under 18/20s NZ national cricket development and men's senior NZ hockey.  He has a keen interest in laying out a step by step graded exposure plan to patients for them to reach their overall goals.

Clinical Interests:
-Hip and groin
-Acute, long standing or post operative.
-Acute or long standing knee injuries
-conservative and surgical management (ACL, meniscus, total knee replacements).
-Running injuries both acute and long-standing. 
-Trauma – upper limb (shoulder, elbow hand) lower limb (knee, foot, ankle).
-Low back injuries. 
-Return to sport rehabilitation programming.
