Julie has had over 26 years of experience in Sports Physiotherapy and Pilates. With a background  in the Health and Fitness industry, she has owned clinics in gymnasiums in Brisbane for many years.

Julie believes that back pain, neck pain and arthritis and other injuries are compounded by the poor postural and movement patterns we have become locked into. "Using a combination of physiotherapy techniques, massage, stretching and Pilates, we can re-educate and re-program our body to reduce stress and strain pain". Julie has completed the DMA Pilates training in Clinical Pilates to Level 4 and all Stott training in essential reformer, cadillac, chair and barrels.
Julie is committed to ongoing training and education to further the skills and knowledge for herself and her staff.

"I know that my fantastic staff will ensure you are looked after when you visit the studio.  Whether you are coming in for a pilates class, physio treatment or a massage, we promise to do our very best to help you make positive changes in your life in a supportive and non-judgemental way." ANOUSKA EDWARDS

SPORTS Physiotherapist
Masters in Sports Physiotherapy (GRIFFITH UNIVERSITY)
Pilates Clinician
REVIVE CITY STUDIO

Anouska graduated from the University of Wollongong in 1999 with a degree in Exercise Science then went on to complete her Physiotherapy degree at Griffith University in 2003. A move to Rockhampton in North Queensland to experience the country lifestyle led to a private practice position working with sports and spinal injuries as well as worksite assessment and rehabilitation in Blackwater at the mines. Due to a heavy involvement in triathlon and cycling Anouska began to work with the QAS junior development cycling squads, the national talent identification programmes and the QLD state track team.

A move to Brisbane to begin her Masters in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2006 coincided with an opportunity to ride on the front of a tandem bicycle with a blind athlete. This led to plenty of racing both on the velodrome and the road and eventually a job with the Paralympic Cycling Team and qualifications as a cycling disability classifier working with the united cyclists internationale (UCI). As a result Anouska has a keen interest in cycling/triathlon specific injuries, rehabilitation, biomechanics, technique analysis and coaching.
