Julie has had over 26 years of experience in Sports Physiotherapy and Pilates. With a background in the Health and Fitness industry, she has owned clinics in gymnasiums in Brisbane for many years.
Julie is the founder and manager of REVIVE and Ashgrove Pilates Studio (REVIVE ASHGROVE).
Her vision is to provide a space where clients can find the answer to the "dis-ease" that is part of our hectic and overloaded lives. Julie believes that back pain, neck pain and arthritis and other injuries are compounded by the poor postural and movement patterns we have become locked into. "Using a combination of physiotherapy techniques, massage, stretching and Pilates, we can re-educate and re-program our body to reduce stress and strain pain". Julie has completed the DMA Pilates training in Clinical Pilates to Level 4 and all Stott training in essential reformer, cadillac, chair and barrels.
Julie is committed to ongoing training and education to further the skills and knowledge for herself and her staff.

Kirsty qualified as a physiotherapist, with honors from Nottingham in the UK, in 1998. She worked for 2 years in hospitals working with patients with respiratory, general medical and neurological conditions. She the specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, coming to Australia to work in private practice.
Kirsty gained experience while working in a sports practice in Noosa for 5 years working with triathlon, surf lifesaving and tennis athletes.
She began work as the physiotherapist for the Australian Short Track Speed Skating Team 3 years ago and continues to work and travel extensively with them. She was selected as one of four physios to travel with the 2006 Winter Olympic Team to Torino.
Last year she returned to University of Queensland to obtain a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy.
Since moving to Brisbane Kirsty has a been appointed the physiotherapist for the University of Queensland Rugby Union Team and worked at the AUSTRALIAN OPEN TENNIS in Melbourne for 3 weeks in January 2008.
Kirsty uses a high level of manual treatment skills to treat injuries, whilst still putting heavy emphasis on exercise for rehabilitation. The treatments she uses are specific to the injury, the person and the job/sport of that person to facilitate a full functional recovery. Kirsty is also heavily involved with screening athletes and patients in order to implement preventative programs ranging from high level gym/on field to low level home exercise programs. Kirsty believes in imparting the skills and providing support to her clients to assist them in optimal self management.

Nicole studied for her Physiotherapy degree at La Trobe University in Melbourne and then commenced work at The Alfred Hospital where she went on to specialize more in trauma Physiotherapy. This lead to an interest in post surgical rehabilitation and retraining normal movement. Nicole discovered Pilates four years ago training with Craig Philips and Dance Medicine Australia in Melbourne completing all levels. Nicole also has additional training in musculoskeletal accupunctre and dry needling.
Sport and exercise have always been a big part of her life since competing in National level Slalom Kayaking. These days she enjoys the challenge of competing in triathlon.
At Revive Nicole also co-ordinates the WORKPLACE assessment arm of the practice and has a special interest in work station assessment and ergonomics.
Nicole strongly believes in the use of Pilates as a treatment technique for musculoskeletal pain as an alternative to manual therapy

Brooke Marsh

Brooke has been working as a physiotherapist for 11 years and recently expanding her skills to 4 legged animals having completed her Masters in Animal Physiotherapy.
She has worked extensively in private practice in Australia and overseas and enjoys combining her hands-on skills with the specific rehabilitation that Pilates offers.
Brooke aims to provide goal orientated and specific training to her clients with a holistic approach. She has attended many post graduate training courses including ACUPUNCTURE and ADVANCED TECHNIQUES FOR THE PELVIS AND SPINE.
Brooke has a background in circus training, yoga and gymnastics, and enjoys working with a broad variety of patients from elite athletes, neurological rehabilitation and general rehabilitation for all ages.

Beatrice graduated from the University of Qld in 2003. She was involved with the Queensland Reds and the Red College teams in the 2004 seasons and travelled with various QRU representative teams.
Beatrice has worked in private practice since 2004 treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. She also has a Certificate 3 in fitness and has undertaken post graduate studies in pilates and dry needling.
Beatrice has a special interest in Pilates as a tool in rehabilitation. She blends this knowledge with her manual therapy skills to provide her clients with a comprehensive service.
Beatrice has a passion for educating her clients about injury prevention and management to empower them to reach optimum health and well being.

LORI FORNER

Lori studied Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland and travelled back to her home in Canada after Graduating. She worked in musculoskeletal private practice and completed her essential and intermediate Stott Pilates Reformer and matwork in Canada.
She has recently returned to Australia and joined the team at REVIVE and brings with her special interests in running injuies and spinal rehabilitation.
Lori is looking forward to working with REVIVE clients to assist them towards optimal health and fitness and also continuing her Pilates education in the future.
Lori is currently on maternity leave and will rejoing us in March 2009.

Louise graduated in 2007 from the University of QLD and completed a New Grad Rotating Position for the Gold Coast Hospital. She's now moved back Brisbane to follow her passion for musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Pilates. Louise is a lover of triathlon, keeping fit and vibrant, and spends her free time delving into the world of holistic health with a keen interest in Yoga, Energetic and Vibrational healing, Meditation and Psychology. Louise is very excited to join the team at Revive. Watch out for her cycling on the streets of Brisbane.

Jess has a bachelor of physiotherapy from the University of Queensland. She is a high achiever and graduated in the top 5% of her year. She is also Pilates Instructor whose training was at the Pilates Institute of Queensland. Throughout her studies she developed a keen interest for musculoskeletal physiotherapy, particularly neck, spinal and shoulder conditions. Her main passion is combining Pilates and Physio to achieve outstanding results. With a past history in competitive long distance running, basketball and equestrian events. Jess is looking forward to expanding her knowledge and skill and attended a course specialising in the pelvis and lumber spine in March '08.

Kathryn has had over 10 yrs experience in the health and fitness industry. Throughout this time Kathryn has become passionate about helping clients reach personal health and fitness goals.
Kathryn is also one of our talented Massage Therapists who is trained in Relaxation and Sports Massage Therapy. Kathryn has worked closely with Julie Campbell over the past 4 years as a physiotherapy assistant, massage therapist and Pilates Instructor.
Kathryn has completed her mat-work training with Michael King and her Stott training in mat and reformer. She is completing her Stott training and furthering her education and skills in the area of massage therapy.
Kath is now also our endermologie therapist and is very excited about being able to further assist people to feel and look their best.

Aideen is our new massage therapist. Aideen is a registered and experienced "Sports Rehabilitator" trained in Ireland. Her background gives her indepth knowledge of anatomy, rehabilitative exercise and exercise physiology. With this comprehensive background in rehabilitation, Aideen is a perfect complement to our Revive team as she joins us as a Massage therapist. Aideen will be working towards her Pilates certification and will also be training in Endermologie.

Anne has just completed the Exercise Science component of her double degree at Griffith University. She is continuing her physiotherapy study and is working at Revive as a massage therapist.

Jenny has more than twenty years experience in the fitness industry. She has worked extensively in general population health and fitness clubs and also worked within specialised rehabilitation fields alongside other health Professionals.
As Jenny has such a wide range of experience in general fitness and rehabilitaion it was natural progression for Jenny to add massage certification to her extensive repertoire of skills eight years ago. Jenny is a registered remedial massage therapist with the Aust Association of Massage Therapists (this qualification is recognised by all major Health Insurance funds).
Jenny has completed Level 1 and 2 of "Dance Medicine Austalia's" Clinical Pilates courses in Melbourne and also Certificate IV Pilates Studio Equipment Instructon with "Polestar" Pilates in Sydney.

Shauna has a Bachelor of Human Movement Studies and is completing her Polestar Pilates training (Rehabilitation stream). Originally from Zimbabwe, Shauna has carried out her tertiary studies in Australia. Shauna is very interested in the Health and Fitness industry and has worked as a personal trainer and coach in a variety of sports. Since joining Revive, Shauna is enjoying teaching Pilates and helping people move from strength to strength emotionally and physically.
Shauna is one of our mat pilates instructors and takes some of the classes at Taylor Range.

Catalina is a Physiotherapist from South America who graduated in 2003. She worked for five years in private practice treating musculoskeletal and neurological condition. She has experience in sports clinics and physiotherapist centres in her home country.
She expanded her studies travelling to Argentina and Brazil to do Physiotherapy and Kinesiology in sports horses. Catalina came to Australia to get her license and practice as a Physiotherapist here. In the mean time, she is practicing as one of our massage therapists, specialising in remedial massage, lymphatic drainage massage and toning massage.
She enjoys the fact that she can use her hands to treat and provide relief to people.

Coming from a background in retail, Emma has a lot of experience in delivering customer service. As our senior receptionist in the City studio, Emma ensures the smooth running of the Studio. With a keen interest in health and fitness, Emma is passionate about becoming a pilates instructor herself and is currently studying to gain her Certificate III and IV in Fitness.
