Medicare Rebates

Patients with a chronic musculoskeletal condition (present for six months or longer) are now eligible for five (5) services from an Allied Health Professional including Physiotherapists on a Medicare rebate. Equipment Pilates  

Pilates equipment training is a superior workout in many ways - your program is designed specifically for you and your needs following an in depth assessment with an experienced physiotherapist.  The increased specificity and intensity of the workout means you will see faster and more noticable resutlts . We recommend that all pilates participants do at least 2 equipment sessions per week to see results.  These sessions run throughout the day on the hour.  Once you have completed your initial three sessions you will be eligible to start group training and you just need to book your preferred times in advance to reserve your permanent bookings.
 

Initial Assessment and one on one session (obligatory)
This session includes an assessment with a physiotherapist, an untrasound scan and you personalised program.

Second and Third Sessions (obligatory)
These sessions are designed to further familiarise you with the equipment and consolidate your program so you can move into group training with confidence.

Personal one hour session /1:1 Pilates
You may choose to work one on one with an instructor to clarify exercises, to extend your program or simply because you prefer to work one on one.  

Group Pilates Training
One hour training with three to four  clients with one intructor. You do your own personalised program with an instructor overseeing and guiding your session.

Pass Cards
You can reduce the cost of your Equipment Pilates by pre-purchasing a pass card of 1:1 Pilates or Group Pilates.

Rescan/Reassessment
This is a one hour session which includes a rescan and reassessment with a physiotherapist.  The physiotherapist is then able to update you exercise program to ensure you continue to be challenged and are on track to meeting your goals.  Please note this session is not included in any group card purchases.

Reprogram
This is a one hour session which includes a reprogram with either a Pilates Instructor or Physiotherapist of your choice who will write a new exercise program to ensure you continue to be challenged and are on track to meeting your goals.  Please note this session is not included in any group card purchases.

Rescan/Reprogram
This is a one hour session which includes a with a physiotherapist and a reprogram with a Physiotherapist or Pilates Instructor of your choice.  Your exercise program will be updated to ensure you continue to be challenged and are on track to meeting your goals.  Please note this session is not included in any group card purchases.

Physiotherapy/Pilates Combo (completed in 1hr)
A combination of hand on physiotherapy and pilates/core stability exercise, guided by a physiotherapist.

Please note: You are able to use your health fund to claim on Pilates equipment sessions supervised by a physiotherapist. You are required to stay in regular contact with our physiotherapist in order to continue to use your health fund. We require you to carry out a rescan reprogram/ reassessment every 10th session when using your health fund - this enables your physiotherapist to re-assess you, monitor your progress and update your program.

Floor Classes

Our matwork classes can become very full, it is essential that you make a booking if you would like to attend a class, please also note that we require at least 6 hours notice to cancel or change a booking to avoid a cancellation fee.  For our current timetable, please contact the studio.

Initial matwork class
Essential initial session with an instructor to introduce the principals of Pilates and learn the basic manoveres.  You will ensure faster results if you are completing the exercises with the correct muscle activation from the outset.  This one hour introduction will ensure we can safely screen your potential injury and enable you to begin your first mat class with confidence.

Casual Matwork Class
The emphasis of these sessions will be on posture setting, identifying and learning the key areas of a mat class.

5 matwork class pass
A block of 5 classes makes your matwork more affordable.
