Dijana qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Queensland, Australia in 2012 and began working as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in a private clinic in the same year. In treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, Dijana developed an understanding of how effective Pilates can be as a rehabilitation tool along-side physiotherapy. During this time she also worked for the Queensland Academy of Sport as an on-field Physiotherapist for the Women’s Roar Football Team treating acute and chronic lower limb injuries as well as working with the professional athletes on injury prevention.
In 2013, Dijana moved to the United Kingdom and worked at the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) in London, where she received her certifications in Mat and Equipment Pilates which include Ante and Post Natal Pilates and Pilates for Scoliosis. Given her existing interest in incorporating Pilates into Physiotherapy treatment, Dijana has found the APPI method to be a revolutionary way of combining these two disciplines.
Dijana joined the Revive team in 2015 and takes great interest and care in treating both adults and children with Scoliosis and general musculoskeletal paediatric conditions.
Outside of work Dijana enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring hiking tracks and rock climbing at Kangaroo Point.
